Blog #2 - My goals. 2/15/12

My goal for this semester are to better myself in writing and making my writing more clear and more understanding. I plan on using more variety of words and phrases as I go on in this semester by jotting down words I like, words that don't make sense, and really big words that I can't even pronounce. I am going to use a lot of different phrases as well. I will use metaphors and similes. I will also use phrases I have heard from people in the real world that we live in. The topics that I will be using will be a variety, like from school to home, to friends and family. Maybe even work. I will tell you about all the risks that I have taken in my life, which will pretty much amount to none... but who's counting? My tone will be from funny to serious, from sad to happy, from reflective to boring, well boring, not so much.

The thoughtfulness I will put into my stories and blogs will be from dicovering something new to something that is from my past. I will keep the reader engaged in my writing by making them think to themselves, "what will happen next?" It's a good way to make people KEEP reading. I will want to make my readers come back for more because making them come back for more is ALWAYS a good thing, if you know what I mean. I believe achieving these goals this semester will keep me writing after I graduate.

Hey!
My name is Kaylee for those of you who don't know, I am a very outgoing kind of person. I like to write music and I also write in my free time stories. I am a very creative person, and I get my inspiration from real life events. Each day, I write in a little mini notebook I keep in my purse. I like to keep track of interesting events that go on in my life. I am also 18 years old. I plan on going to college for Communications, which writing is a part of. In my blog, you will find some very interesting, true and some make believe stories. I am pretty sure you will enjoy reading my blog entries and I look forward to hearing your comments.
